Everything the site renders is free, and so is the API under a quota. What a paid plan buys is anything we send to you, such as the daily email, and more request capacity for your own code. Paying customers see the same data as everyone else.

The REST API and the hosted MCP server answer every caller, with or without a key. This plan raises the allowance. Quota is per key.

What you never pay for

The dashboard, the current market conditions, prices, fundamentals, filings and insider and Congress data are free on every tier, including Free. None of it depends on whether you sign in or pay. What paying buys is delivery, such as the emails we send you, and a larger API allowance for your own code. It never changes the data you see.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, and there is no cancellation fee. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. A monthly plan stops at the end of that month. A yearly plan is billed for the whole year up front and we do not refund the unused part.
How do refunds work?
A duplicate or mistaken charge is refunded, and so is an extended outage that is our fault. Otherwise fees are not refundable once a billing period has started. The refund policy at /refund has the full terms, including the 14 day right to cancel in the EU and UK.
What counts against my API quota?
Only programmatic calls to the read-only JSON API and the hosted MCP server are counted, per key. Reading the website is never counted, for anyone: not the dashboard and not your watchlist.
Does paying change the data I get?
No. Every tier, the free tier included, receives the same data: the same prices, fundamentals, filings and market readings. Paying raises how many requests your own code may make and adds delivery to your inbox. It never changes what comes back and never implies an expected return. The dashboard, market conditions, prices and fundamentals for every S&P 500 company, SEC filings, insider and Congress trades, macro indicators and the full disclaimer. None of it depends on whether you sign in or pay.
